Our History
Loughborough Inn was built in 1921 on the shores of Loughborough Lake in Battersea, Ontario just 12 miles north of Kingston. The lake is 20 miles long and has 99 miles of shoreline.
100+ years of existence
Loughborough Inn has grown and modernized over it’s 100+ years of existence with 13 cottages built in the 1950’s and since then have been completely renovated with wood burning fireplaces, satellite TV, wireless Internet, air conditioning , refrigerators and full kitchens in some cottages.
7 stunning log cabins
We have matured since the 60’s, adding three new square log cabins in 2012 to the four round log cabins that were built in 1987. Giving us 7 stunning log cabins that allow our visitors to enjoy exclusive, high-quality experience they deserve.
Wildlife & Scenic Hiking
Nestled within the 200 acres of land, Loughborough Inn offers some of some of the most beautiful scenery that augment the experience of staying with us; including beautiful wildlife, scenic hiking trails and picturesque views of stunning Loughborough Lake.
